Dopo il successo delle prime 4 edizioni del Master del 2006/7/8, la Camera di Commercio Italiana per il Regno Unito sta organizzando il quinto Master in Hospitality and Hotel Management che si terrà a Londra il prossimo Ottobre.
L’obiettivo del corso e’ quello di offrire ad un gruppo limitato di partecipanti la chiave per intraprendere o consolidare una brillante carriera nel settore dell’Hospitality.
Tutti i candidati saranno formati attraverso un corso intensivo (200 ore, dal lunedi al sabato) che permetterà di ottenere rapidamente i requisiti idonei per svolgere l’attivita’ di stage.
Il Master prevederà la partecipazione di professionisti che hanno lavorato a lungo per hotels e ristoranti internazionali.e che sono, quindi, in grado di fornire un panorama globale del settore, il quale, non si limita al solo contesto italiano.
Casistiche, testimonianze ed un programma di visite mirate completera’ le attivita’ d’aula. Questa e’ un’ottima opportunità per gli aspiranti studenti di elaborare un solido progetto per una carriera nell’hospitality e per gli hotels ed i ristoranti partners di reperire i propri potenziali dipendenti da un gruppo di qualificati studenti.

http://www.italchamind.eu/EN/mhm.aspAfter the successful launch of the first 4 editions of the Master in 2006/7/8, the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the United Kingdom is organizing the fifth Master in Hospitality and Hotel Management to be held in London from October 2009.
The aim of the course is to offer a limited group of participants the key for embarking on or consolidating an outstanding career in the Hospitality field. All candidates will be trained through an intensive course (200 hours, Monday to Saturday) that will make them readily employable.
The Master will involve the participation of professionals who have worked at length in international hotels and restaurants, and who are therefore able to provide a global view of the sector which is not limited to the Italian context alone.
Case-studies, testimonials and a programme of targeted visits will complement the classroom activities. This is the ultimate opportunity for applicant students to elaborate a sound plan for a career in hospitality and for Partner Hotels and Restaurants to tap into a pool of qualified potential employees for their recruitment purposes.
Master Structure
1. The MA will last 4 or 7 months and will be divided into two terms. There will be a first month of tuition, followed by an internship of a minimum of 3 months up to 6 months. The classes will start in October 2009.
2. The first term of the MA consists of about 180 hours of classes plus 20 hours of individual study. The second term will require, for all the students, at least 500 hours internship during a minimum of 3 month period.
3. The classes will be structured as follows (to be confirmed):
a. Tourism Marketing and Communication;
b. General Accountancy;
c. Food & Beverage and Sales Management;
d. Reservation;
e. Congress & Events Management;
f. Leadership;
g. Managing and evaluating human resources;
h. Front of the house management;
i. Hospitality Law.
4. Students will be supported throughout the classes for a constant learning and to get prepared to the internship, which will provide valuable experience departing from an on-the-field point of view.
5. Students will be provided professional help through aimed coaching by the tutor of the course.
6. Courses are conducted predominantly in English.
7. The internship will take place at the end of the initial tuition period according to the availability of the hosting companies.
8. This course requires full time attendance. The classes will take place from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00; on Saturday from 9.00 to 13.00. Attendance is compulsory.
Professors StaffThe professors staff is composed by professionals of the sector, who are currently working in the field. The teaching approach will be interactive and dynamic, in order to give students the opportunity to discuss the field during the lectures. The coordinator of the MA is Dott. Stefano Potortì.
Internship
Every student is supposed to attend to a 500 hours internship, with which the student will acquire a unique recognised experience. All the candidates will have to deal with international and Italian realities of the hospitality sector.
